About this work

Description

Molecular model of C3 exoenzyme from Clostridium botulinum (C3bot1) binding to its substrate NAD (gold). Its enzymatic action cleaves the cofactor NAD which interferes with the normal regulation of many cell pathways through Rho GTPases. It can stimulate regeneration of injured axons making it a potential treatment for certain neural disorders
