Description

Image of a brass microscope on a metal stand made in the eighteenth century in continental Europe. It purchased by Albert Nachet for his collection from C. H. Boulange. The Nachet Collection was a large set of microscopes collected by Albert Nachet and acquired by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum (accession number A60860). The item is not held by Wellcome Collection.
