34th in a series of 50 colour cigarette cards issued in 1938 by W.D. & H.O. Wills (Bristol and London) showing how to protect yourself and your property from air raids. In this case it shows wardens in a residential street scene wearing gas masks and steel helmets, designed to protect the head and lungs from gas bombs.
