    The wards have been visited regularly, and the intercourse with many of the patients has been of a very satisfactory character. Apathy and discontent is the normal condition of very many—but some are cheerful; and not a few patient, contented, and thankful, for the care and attention bestowed upon them. There have been lately several severe cases of erysipelas, which, by desire of the Medical Superintendent, have not been visited by the Chaplain.
