Poisoned. Part 3, The killing fields.

The third in a six-part documentary about real-life cases of poisoning, looking in particular at how poisons affect the body and featuring the work of the Medical Toxicology Unit in South East London. This part looks at toxic plants - there are over 450 species of poisonous plants growing in the UK. We hear of a couple who mistook poisonous deadly nightshade berries for bilberries and people who have been poisoned by herbal medicines and 'natural' food supplements.
