Description

Molecular model of the testicular form of Angiotensin I-converting enzyme (tACE). This protein is a zinc-dependent protease. The zinc atom is shown in green and two chloride ions that affect the speed of the reaction are shown in red. This form of the enzyme is only found in the sperm and is linked to male fertility.
