The following conditions are illustrated and described. Congenital dislocation of the hip in the newborn as demonstrated by Ortolani's Sign. In the toddler, limp, shortening, diminished abduction. Perthes' Disease as demonstrated by Trendelenburg Sign, Thomas Test, x-ray. Slipped upper femoral epiphysis.
