Description

'Mémoire sur le choléra morbus épidémique de l'Inde, indiquant sa cause, sa nature et son origine et contenant les methodes prophylactique et curative de cette maladie.' (Translated on inside cover as: "Memorandum on Epidemic Asiatic Cholera indicating its cause, its nature, & its origin, & containing prophylactic & curative methods for this disease..."). Written while Mailloux was physician to King Radama II, and dated (f. 341) Tananarive [Madagascar], 25 April 1863. On ff. iii-vi is a dedication to Thomas Conelly Pakenham, British Consul in Madagascar, asking him to forward it to the British Government, dated Réunion, 20 December 1863.
