Récéption de l'artiste voyageur chez le chef des Arabe à Palmyre. La scène est au pied du portique qui donne entrée dans le temple du soleil; l'ouverture, pratiquée par les Arabes vers le milieu de ce portique, laisse apercevoir au fond du tableau une partie de l'enceinte du temple. Dessiné par L.F. Cassas. Gravé par S.C. Miger.
