Reproduction note

After a painting then in the collection of Alfred Sensier (1815-1877); subsequently in the collection of Paul Mantz and presented by him to the Musée du Louvre in 1892. A similar group of figures are depicted in Bruegel's Fight between Carnival and Lent (Vienna, KhM). The figures are believed to portray 5 men with leprosy who would be allowed to ask for alms in cities on one Monday of the year, i.e., the Monday after Epiphany.
