Description

Sagittal section of an adult horse (equine) brain, viewed from the right side if it were in the body. The right side of the brain is facing the right side of the image. Visible structures include the olfactory bulb, left cerebral hemisphere, lateral ventricle, inter-thalamic adhesion, optic chiasma, pituitary gland, brain stem and cerebellum. The cerebrum measures 9 cm across.
