Description

Confocal micrograph of mouse adipose tissue (wholemount). Adipose cells are stained red (Red Lipid Tox) surrounded by a network of blood vessels in green (green fluorescence protein). Adipose (fat) tissue is a store of energy and also provides insulation. Tile stitched image size is 1.2 mm x 1.1 mm.
