Description
Coopers news; visitors from Ghana and Nigeria meet scientist and hurdler Robert Shaw. He researches cattle ticks and other lethal animal parasites. The visitors watch as sheep are dipped. A drenching gun is used against worms. Cooper Cattle Spray Race is seen in action. Ends abruptly.

This film came as part of an acquisition of material relating to Cooper McDougall & Robertson Ltd.
The news sequence was produced by the Central Office of Information used in British Television News No. 121 and distributed to Latin America, Algeria, Finland, the Lebanon, Iran, Australia and Canada. A letter to accompany the film sent to Coopers trusts that 'this furthered your publicity efforts in these parts of the world'.
16mm copy is scratched; it was originally spliced onto same reel as reel 31 ('Through the eye of an artist') but has been removed.
