Manuscript letters. Letters discuss observations of his travels in Bordeghera and Viareggio in Italy and Val Casterino in the Alps (enclosed a rubbing of a 'little man'). He invites Galton and his niece to visit. Postcard accompanied a piece of paper with 'a squeeze of a figure cut in the schist in Val Fontanella'.
