About this work

Description

A copy of A Compendium of the Law of Coroners by Joseph Baker Grindon, annotated with notes on infanticide and other unnatural deaths, including accidents in coal mines, along with relevant points of law.

The book was owned by J. A. Sellers, Deputy Coroner for Rochdale, whose name is written on the title page alongside the date 1856. It is probable that he was the writer of the notes, and that the volume was used by him to support his work.
