About this work

Description

Colour-enhanced image of the Sendai virus. This virus normally infects mice but can infect human cells without causing disease. It is being investigated as a vector for gene therapy in diseases such as cystic fibrosis. The horizontal field width of the sample is 0.8 micrometres.
