Description

A turnkey surveys the scene and holds a book inscribed "garnish". A youth holds out a jug of ale and some cheese, holding out his hand for money. One of the Fleet prisoners examines a paper outlining a scheme for paying off the national debt. Nearby another inmate is manacled. He points to his neck alluding to his forthcoming execution by hanging. The prison wall on the right is covered with graffiti
