Description
Manuscript letters. Concerning a theory on number forms (letter is 29pp). Concerning the mathematical part of Natural Inheritance. Discussing his paper on correlation. Concerning Galton's essay on "The risk of misclassification when the objects to be classified vary normally" which is enclosed. Concerning Shepherd's essay on geometry. Galton contributed £10 to have the paper typed. Concerning testimonials for Senate of London University (Shepherd was unsuccessful). Letters concerning the writing of his papers e.g. on theory of errors, correct values of average square. Asked Galton to propose him for the Royal Statistical Society.
