In reverse to the painting in the Vatican. Right, "Archimedes", writing in a book with his left hand. A turbanned man ("Averroes") looks over his shoulder. Centre, a model using a stick to support his pose, serving as the model for "Parmenides", left, who points to a passage in an open volume
