Description

One of a series of twelve programmes explaining the uses of informational technology to different aspects of everyday life. This episode focuses on IT in healthcare, and the benefits to doctors and patients are shown, including computerised patient information databases, diagnostic equipment, organic chemistry software, information services, non-invasive imaging software and computerised pacemakers. Future developments and possibilities are also discussed.
