Description
The MRC Permissable Levels Subcommittee was established in 1962. The subcommittee was concerned with the revision of existing permissable levels, as well as providing recommendations on specific instances where radiation might be found, to monitor the safety of radiation levels. It was established to recalculate the levels of permissable radiation, considering the provisional working levels for limited populations under continuous or intermittent exposure.
