After a print in John Mawe, Travels in the interior of Brazil. A version of it appears as the frontispiece to the London 1812 and Philadelphia 1816 editions as "View of negroes washing for diamonds at Mandango on the river Jigitonhonha in Cerra do Frio Brazil", as "Drawn by T. Webster from a sketch by Mr Mawe" (described in the 1812 edition on pp. 222-225)
