About this work

Description

This symposium takes its lead from innovative initiatives in the UK, as a platform from which to explore better ways of informing and stimulating debate about bioscience policy issues. The first part looks at the need to engage the public in scientific decision making and sets out how this might be done. The second part of the session presents a theatre in education program that is jointly sponsored by the Office of Science and Technology and the Wellcome Trust. Organized by Suzanne King, Wellcome Trust, UK and Mark Dyball, Office of Science and Technology, UK.
