About this work

Description

Colloquium heptaplomeres de abditis rerum sublimium arcanis libri VI. On the verso of the title, the copyist remarks 'Emendationes variaeque lectiones desumptae sunt ex Apographo Christinae Reginae quem servat Bibliotheca Regis Daniae, Codice illustrissimi Consiliarii Intimi Moht, Codice illustrissimi Rostgardi Daniae Regi à Secretis Cancellariae Danicae, Codicis viri clarissimi Arnae Magnaei, Professoris Hafniensis'. Below this is the signature-struck through-of 'J. Schwabe Rendsbourg 1733', who is possibly the copyist himself. At the end of the text we find 'Haec ego Joannes Bodinus Andegavensis scripsi, Andesiis Anno aetatis 63' [1593]. Produced in Rendsburg.
