    mon Bark, but not finding it put a flop to the complaint, he prefcribed va- rious other medicines, among which were myrrh, fal martis, columbo root, and opium, and many of which me continued to take for feveral weeks fucceffively, but without the leaft in- terruption of the fit; he then orcered her to take Bark again, and to perfe- vere in its ufe for a long while :—Ac- cordingly, fhe took a fhrong decoction of it three or four times a day for feveral months, but flill without effi- cacy ; at length, fhe took it in fubftance, and in a much larger quantity than fhe had before taken it, and from continuing it a longtime, fhe had the good fortune, at laft, to obtain a cure.
