Description

Woodcut illustration from an edition of 1537 (16th year of Jiajing reign period of Ming dynasty). The sanjiao (Triple Burner) channel of hand shaoyang originates at guanchong (Rushing Pass) at and terminates at ermen (Ear Portal) There are 23 acu-moxa locations on this channel (i.e. 46 altogether on both sides of the body), all of which are clearly labelled.
