Its primary mission is to develop alternative and environmentally-friendly pest and vector management strategies and works primaily with arthropods. You can find out more from its website: www.icipe.org. The Governing Council is responsible for policy-level governance of the Centre and the Executive Board of the Council assists the Council in determining ICIPE policies. The Council and the Board are advised on scientific policy matters by the Council's Programme Committee, and on membership of the Council itself by its Nominating Committee.
