Wellington is holding a bottle labelled: "Emetic", and says: "I think Mrs. Constitution, this emetic will enable you to cast the Boroughmongers off you stomach, and you may then recover your former vigour." Russell is bearing a bottle labelled: "Russell purge", and retorts: "I would rather advise the purge, as it is a more powerful operative."
