Photograph of a manuscript miniature depicting the miraculous cure of the physician to Louis IX of France in 1271. The miniature is from a 15th century manuscript "La Vie de Saint-Denys" held by the Bibliotheque Nationale de France in Paris. The photograph was compiled by Captain Johnston-Saint, a Wellcome Historical Medical Museum employee, for his Royal Society of Medicince lecture in 1938
