Boats in the centre foreground. Looking towards the east with City Hall in the distant centre. Same point of view as Thomson's negative number 46. This view is similar to Thomson's negative number 43, taken either from a more distant point, or with a lens of lesser focal length. "Hong Kong" scratched on the negative
