Shop Hours Act.—Acting under the provisions of the Shop Hours Regulation Act, Inspector Steward has made 498 visits to shops. A number of offences against the provisions of the Act came under the observation of the Inspector, and on them being- pointed out to the offending parties, they in each case, made such arrangements as were necessary to comply with the Act.
