Printed circular letter from Samuel John Galton [grandfather of Francis Galton] to the Friends of the Monthly Meeting in Birmingham, 1795. The circular concerns a minute referencing Galton's role in arms manufacturing, and the incompatibility of his business interests with the religious and moral convictions of the Society of Friends. It is enclosed with a letter from C D Sturge to Karl Pearson, dated 14 May 1912.
