About this work

Description

A movie (avi) of calcium waves during apoptosis in human monocytes/macrophages loaded with fluo-3 (a calcium dye) that have been exposed to oxidised LDL. Images were taken every 30 secs. and you can see intracellular Ca oscillations beginning that precede cell death by apoptosis.
