Contains drafts of Francis Galton's manuscript "Written Numerals", enquiry schedules and returned written numerals from members of the International Statistical Institute, and collated numerals illustrating the difference between the various respondents' writing of number figures. Includes photographs of the responses, and correspondence relating to the enquiry and manuscript.
