CAHIER de différentes Recettes concernant l'art de la distillation de toutes espèces de Liqueurs fines, sirops et Ratafiats, avec la manière de fabriquer toutes sortes d'eau de vie, les vinaigres blanc et rouge, dans l'éspace de 30 à 48 heures ... et différentes recettes concernant les vins. The first part (49 ll.) contain directions for making 81 different liqueurs and drinks. The second part is headed 'Distillation secrette', but is concerned with similar operations. The three leaves at the end give directions for making different kinds of biscuits, etc., and are by a different and later hand. Pasted inside the upper cover is a printed advertisement of 'Celce Marchand, rue Nôtre Dame No. 22', a stationer and book-seller of Troyes.
