Description

Woodcut illustration from an edition of 1537 (16th year of Jiajing reign period of Ming dynasty). The liver channel of foot jueyin originates at dadun (Big Mound) and terminates at qimen (Portal of Times). There are 13 acu-moxa locations on this channel, (i.e. 26 altogether on both sides of the body, all of which are clearly labelled. See 'Lettering' for list of point names.
