Description

The first in a two-part series about the devastating effects of spinal-cord injury. In this part we hear about how the varying kinds of spinal-cord injury affect the amount of disability that will result. We hear the stories of people living with spinal-cord injury and the professionals that aim to help them. We also hear about the pioneering work of Ludwig Guttmann, whose work in the late 1940's has led to a much longer lifespan and much better quality of life for those with spinal-cord injuries.
