    15. All purchases of provisions, and other sup¬ plies for the Hospital, shall be made as often as possible by contract. But no contract shall be made, by which any member of the Committee shall be directly or indirectly interested orconcerned. Every Officer or Servant who shall take any fee, gratuity, or reward, directly or indirectly, from any contractor, tradesman, or other person dealing with this Hospital, or from any patient, or friend of any patient, in respect to any service done, or to be done, shall forthwith be discharged and rendered incapable of being received again into the service of this Hospital. ELECTIONS. 16. All Officers, except those who are honorary, shall be elected by the General Committee, who shall investigate the testimonials and qualifications of the candidates, in order that the services of the most efficient Officers may be obtained, and that success may not depend on the exertions used in a canvass. THE HOUSE COMMITTEE. 17. The General Committee shall be divided into six parts, each part to be summoned to attend, in monthly rotation, at the Hospital, every Friday,
