Description
Photograph of two sculptures of the Ancient Greek Gods Aesculapius and Telesphorus at the Musee Lavigerie, now the Carthage National Museum, Tunisia. The photograph was received by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum from Captain Johnston-Saint on 25 June 1929. Captain Johnston-Saint was a Wellcome Historical Medical Museum employee who travelled extensively in Europe, the Middle East and India purchasing items for the museum.
