Description

Kate Mills, of 17 Phillip St., Gloucester. Non-vaccinated. At the worst stage of the smallpox. The photographer noted that this case and that of her sister (and indeed in all photographs he took except two named) were treated before Dr Brooks was in charge, and that no water was allowed to touch patient until the scab was off
