Ni Deus affuerit viresque infuderit herbis, / Quid, rogo, dictamnum quid panacea iuuent? Denatus Leidae an. MDCI Augusti XI stijlo novo. Qui medicos purgavit ovans a sentibus hortos / Heurnius, et Phoebi crescere fecit opes: / Fecit opes Coas medicis florescere silvis, / Et charitum lymphis imbuit omne nemus. / Heurniades doctae radianti munere linguae / Illustrans magni turbida scripta sophi. / Sollers Assyria scrutari sidera cura, / Et morbi faciles rite notare dies. / Ereptum Graecis, Romana uoce Batauis / Excultum nitide qui dedit Hippocratem, / Sic faciem, sic membra tulit spirantia magnus / Heurniades, Cois ora rigatus aquis.
