Molecular model of side close-up of the proto- oncogene tyrosine- protein kinase Src (PDB code:1FMK), which is maintained in the inactive state by intramolecular interactions of SH2 and SH3 domains. The ribbon diagram shows the auto-inhibitory phosphotyrosine 527 bound to the SH2 domain as a ball-and-stick model.
