Beck, Marcus (1843-1893), Professor of Surgery

Letters from Marcus Beck to his parents Edward and Susannah Beck, and to his brother Edward, mainly as a medical student at Glasgow, 1860-63. While there, Beck lived with his cousin Joseph Lister (1827-1912). He later became Professor of Surgery at University College, London.
