Description

The crystal structure of Cinnamic Acid. It is a white crystal solid, which is slightly soluble in water. It is obtained from the oil of Cinnamon - a small evergreen tree - the bark of which is often used to make the cinnamon spice commonly used in cooking. Cinnamic acid is mainly used in the perfume industry as it has a a sweet floral aroma.
