Description

Jerome of Prague (1365?-1416), Bohemian religious reformer, born in Prague. In 1407 he became an associate of Bohemian religious reformer John Huss and joined him in preaching against the abuses of the church hierarchy and the profligacy of the clergy. After Huss was condemned by the Council of Constance. Jerome was arrested and burned at the stake as a heretic
