Copy 1 Note: There are 11 extra MS. maps (5 fldg.) inserted, and the original maps and engraved title-page are lightly coloured by hand. Some marginal MS. notes and 4 fly-leaves with geographical notes in the same hand. The two at the beginning concern Ireland, those at the end are headed 'the English Empire in America'. These notes seem to have been written about 1680, the latest date given is a reference to the 'Port-town of Charleston', Carolina.
