Description

Watercolour drawing of the abdomen of a patient affected by circumscribed scleroderma (keloid of Addison, morphea). The drawing was taken ten years after the commencement of the disease. Pigmentary stainings mark the site of the original affection. The patient was a middle aged man and a pattern maker.
