About this work

Description

Letters to Galton on how he visualises numerals along a "number-curve" shaped like a hunting whip, and can also arrange the events of his life along this curve, whilst his sister sees them as on a perpendicular line. Encloses an example of his curve, and how it changes shape when his mind attends to particular figures, and of his sister's number-line.
