Biographical note

The Wellcome Trust celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2011. It ran a programme of public engagement activities and private events to mark the occasion, including an exhibition at Wellcome Collection and the 75th Anniversary Summer Series, which explored the world of science through art, film, music and theatre. The Trust also published a series of stories across the year which highlighted the work of significant individuals in the Trust's history.
