About this work

Description

Pencil drawing of the neck and thorax of a man who had an aneurysm, probably arising from the arch of the aorta. It was treated on several occasions by the insertion of steel pins, with the result that considerable consolidation followed. The patient, however, became discontented, and left the Hospital before the case was complete.
